A Recipe For The SONY Open’s Sapphire Ace Collins

Created by BOMBAY SAPPHIRE, the Gold Sponsor of the 2014 Sony Open, this refreshing cocktail is simple to make, made with made with lemon juice and raspberries which give it a nice balance.

When it was the Gold Sponsor of the 2014 SONY Open, Bombay Sapphire created a refreshing cocktail that was served throughout the tournament.

Gary Hayward, Bombay Sapphire’s brand ambassador had this to say:

Ingredients 

  • 1 ½ oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
  • ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz. simple syrup
  • 5 raspberries + more for garnish
  • club soda

Instructions

  • Muddle (mash up) raspberries, gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a collins glass. Top with club soda and garnish with fresh whole raspberries.

Notes

Rather than messing up our kitchen making simple syrup from scratch, we use Master of Mixes Simple Syrup.
