There are some divided opinions about this brutal sign at the entrance of a hardware store in New York. The idea was simple, make people wear face masks when indoors. However, some went even further and called this – condescending!
Coronavirus restrictions and measures have now become a regular feature in our daily lives. Many shops limit the number of customers allowed in at one time, have markings on the floor in a bid to enforce social distancing, and ask customers to wear face covering unless they are exempt.
But a hardware store in New York has gone viral after a picture was posted online of the brutal warning message it displays in the window stating that face masks are compulsory. The ruthless message divided opinion after the image was shared on Reddit, with many supporting the no-nonsense stance the shop was taking,
One said: “This is absolutely brilliant!” and a second wrote: “Hahahaha that is fantastic!” Another added: “This is why I’m glad I work for a small business. I can border line abuse s***ty customers and kick their asses out with no worry of the owner firing me.”
But not everyone agreed. One raged: “I would open door. Grab sign and rip it up. A***holes.”
And someone else snapped back: “Until they go out of business. It’s more likely someone else buys their foreclosed store.”
What are your thoughts? Is this correct?
