Meet The Team:
4.5 USTA rated/open champion level tennis player, vegan, fitness freak, animal lover, and smart ass who firmly believes that champagne is anathema for all ills. Right now I’m either up to my eyeballs in paint swatches and fabric samples, or kicking some butt on a tennis court (hopefully the latter).
I’m a former top 50 world-ranked tennis pro, whose most notable opponents include Martina Navratilova, Tracy Austin, Pam Shriver, Gigi Fernandez and Andrea Jaeger. Currently, I own and run Jane Forman Sports in Miami, Fla., developing community tennis and sports programs for children and adults of all ages and levels.
I’m Karen Fishman – mom, tennis player, health and wellness coach, motivator, successful entrepreneur, and now blogger, here to provide the tools and motivation necessary to create a community of empowered, healthy people who know they matter.

I have been playing tennis since I was 4 years old, and will be turning 15 soon. I play tennis at a national level and travel all over the country, learning the best ways to adapt to different circumstances along the way. My dad is a PTR certified coach, and with my mom he runs a non-profit tennis organization in New Jersey called East Brunswick Youth Tennis. My brother is also a national tennis player so we all have a lot of knowledge and experience in athlete nutrition, fitness, and drills.
A former Ms. Natural Olympia Bodybuilding champion, currently a competitive tennis player, performance coach, injury prevention specialist, plant-based nutrition coach, author, speaker and raw vegan athlete. She is the author of “Tennis Fitness for the Love of it” and “The Athlete’s Simple Guide to a Plant-Based Lifestyle.” Suzanna loves to help others by sharing her knowledge, and to hang out with her favorite chocolate Labrador Zuzi.
After years of working with tennis professionals, I developed my own program and moved myself up to 5.5. I even played in the USTA 7.0 mixed championships! My goal now is to help everyone find the FUN in tennis fundamentals, and to show them that tennis is a solution to lifelong fitness!
